LEVEL : EASY
Best for 2-3 year olds but the nature walk and collecting items is fun for any age!
Supplies needed:
-A collection of pretty leaves, flower petals, pinecone leaves …. Can someone say nature walk?! Don’t worry, you can find most of this right in your backyard…any small treasures they find along the way work well.
-Dessert size cheap white paper plates a hole cut in the middle large enough to fit over the pumpkin stem
-Elmer’s Glue
-Glue brush
DIRECTIONS
Put glue onto the back of the plate using the glue brush. Next let the child decide where to place all of the items they collected on the nature walk. Let the plate dry and Voila! They have transformed a plain paper plate into an adorable pumpkin hat! If you have children too young to participate, gather extra leaves for them for some sensory fun.
