DAY ON THE WATER

Spent the day with some of our really good friends on the water! I slipped on my new Persifor dress as I was running out the door + I immediately fell in love. I spent a very long morning at the DMV so I had about 3 minutes to get ready to leave for our friends home. This dress is perfect for travel, just throw it in your bag and it won’t wrinkle. I still don’t know how my Superga sneakers are not the top selling item on Mrs. Nipple. They are my most worn item in life.

CASUAL WEEKEND IN THE HAMPTONS

All THE DETAILS OF WHAT I WORE

We spend most summer weekends out east! I usually leave Connecticut with the boys every summer Friday in the morning so we can beat the traffic. By the time Ray arrives around 7:30 p.m., the boys are either already asleep or ready for bed! We can then sneak out for a quick date night. The hamptons is always much cooler than Connecticut so I never go anywhere without a sweater or jean jacket. We grabbed drinks at Oaklands for a beautiful sunset + then headed to Cowfish for dinner on Friday night. I wore THESE jeans + THIS RL American flag sweater + my favorite summer sneakers HERE. I’ve had Superga sneakers forever. I wash them every few weeks and they still look great. I just throw them in the washing machine + use regular detergent. I then dry them in the dryer with a towel until they are almost dry + then let them air dry.

Saturday we took Charlie to the beach, HERE is one of my favorite coverups. While Charlie + Ford were sleeping I changed into THIS off the shoulder top in size S + my favorite jean shorts, HERE. I paired it with the sneakers I linked above, and THIS hat + THESE sunnies. Saturday night we headed to Dockers for sunset. I wore THIS dress I’m loving right now. I was going to pair it with wedges but I left them in the car and opted to leave on my white Superga sneakers. I paired the outfit with one of my favorite Hat Attack bags, HERE.
